Great to meet you!

I'm a Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with over ten years of experience supporting children, teens, and families across community health and pediatric hospital settings. Much of my work has centered on adolescents, youth involved in the justice system, families navigating multiple systems of care, perinatal mental health, and end-of-life work. I also hold a certification in perinatal mental health (PMH-C). Beyond direct clinical work, I've led program development and evaluation for initiatives serving LGBTQIA2S+ communities and Latinx and Indigenous youth. Before becoming a social worker, I worked as an Intervention Specialist, supporting middle and high school students with learning disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and significant mental health needs. Across all of this, one belief stays constant: you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you with respect, curiosity, and genuine care.

My approach to therapy

I approach therapy as a partnership. I take time to understand the full context of your life, including your relationships, history, culture, and the systems you move through, because I believe healing happens when we look at the whole person rather than a single problem. My work is strengths-based and trauma-informed, meaning I pay close attention to what's already resilient in you while creating a safe space to explore what feels challenging. I aim to meet you where you are, honor your pace, and tailor our work to what feels meaningful and relevant to your life.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is mostly about getting to know each other. There's no pressure to share more than you're comfortable with; this is simply a chance for me to learn about your situation and for you to get a feel for how we might work together. We'll talk about what brought you here and what you're hoping for, and from there we'll begin to shape goals that feel meaningful to you. My hope is that you leave that first conversation feeling heard, respected, and a little more grounded in what comes next.
