If you’re looking for a fellow traveler to walk alongside you through life’s challenges, I am here to support you. Whether you are new to therapy, or therapy is very familiar to you, you deserve a space where your whole story is heard and valued. I specialize in working with people who have often felt like the odd person out— like they are navigating worlds that weren’t built for them. Individuals carrying the weight of difficult family dynamics or persistent criticism; or moving through identity shifts or life transitions that leave them unsure of who they are becoming. If any of that sounds familiar, you’re not alone— and you’re not broken.
My approach is active and collaborative because I believe simply sitting and listening isn't enough to foster meaningful insight. I integrate Psychodynamic psychotherapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) with a focus on the therapeutic relationship as a powerful catalyst for healing. I deeply believe that healing begins when you feel seen by someone who truly believes in you and understands the why behind your feelings, without having a personal stake in the life decisions you make. I also use Internal Family Systems (IFS) and sensory calming techniques because lasting change often requires helping your nervous system settle— along with your mind.
From the very first session, our work will feel like a conversation not an intake form, dynamic instead of scripted. I am interested in you— in learning about the rhythms of your life. We'll talk about your sleep, your stress, what and who matters to you, and the challenges you're facing. We'll also talk about your history and how it has informed your sense of self and the stories you hold about yourself in the world.
You'll have the space to decide if we're a good fit, because that decision belongs to you.
Through looking at your past while moving forward, my goal is to help you understand yourself and grow as a person while building practical skills that support connection and peace. If you've spent a long time feeling unseen and are ready to change that, I'd love to hear from you.
