Great to meet you!

Hello,

I'm excited and look forward at the opportunity to be a part of your mental health wellness journey. I have provided individual and group counseling to children and adolescents for the past 10 years. I have facilitated workshops to provide parent/caregiver education on mental health topics to promote a holistic and family oriented approach to wellness.

My approach to therapy

I use a strengths-based perspective to allow clients to better understand themselves and to raise awareness about their capabilities and resilience. I enjoy using play and art therapy to empower expression and self awareness. I use solution-focused therapy to promote short and long-term goal attainment. I use cognitive behavioral therapy to assist clients in identifying and disrupting unhelpful thought patters and behaviors.

What you can expect from me

You can expect me to be empathic, affirming, and caring. My hope is to support you understand your mental health and empower you to learn and use strategies that you can keep in your wellness toolkit.
