Great to meet you!

I'm Viridiana Rodriguez, LCSW, Founder & CEO of Amar Therapy, Inc. and a first-generation Mexican-American therapist passionate about helping individuals heal from trauma, anxiety, burnout, and life transitions. I specialize in EMDR therapy, nervous system healing, and culturally responsive care, supporting clients in breaking intergenerational cycles and building deeper self-trust. My approach is holistic, trauma-informed, and rooted in the belief that healing happens when we feel safe, seen, and connected to ourselves. Together, we work toward creating lasting change, emotional well-being, and a life that feels more aligned and authentic.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and holistic. I believe healing happens when we address both the mind and body, which is why I integrate trauma-informed and evidence-based approaches such as EMDR, mindfulness, and nervous system regulation techniques. I strive to create a safe, culturally responsive space where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered to explore their experiences. Together, we work to heal past wounds, build self-awareness, and create meaningful, lasting change.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect their first session to be a welcoming and supportive space where we begin building a therapeutic relationship. We will explore what brings you to therapy, discuss your current challenges, review relevant personal history, and identify your goals for treatment. My priority is to help you feel comfortable, heard, and understood while creating a plan that aligns with your unique needs and healing journey. There is no pressure to share everything at once—we move at a pace that feels safe and manageable for you.
