Great to meet you!

I believe therapy should feel like a safe, supportive space where you can be fully heard, understood, and respected. My goal is to meet you where you are and help you move toward healing, growth, and a greater sense of balance in your life. I work with clients navigating anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, substance use concerns, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, family stress, sleep difficulties, anger, and major life transitions. My professional background has allowed me to support individuals through a wide range of emotional and life challenges. I understand that reaching out for therapy can feel vulnerable, and I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental environment where you feel comfortable sharing your story at your own pace.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and empowering. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to help you explore what feels difficult, identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and build practical tools that support meaningful change. I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Behavioral Activation, and Problem-Solving Therapy. Together, we may work on understanding your thoughts and emotions, developing healthier coping skills, improving communication, managing stress, and reconnecting with your values and strengths.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a calm and welcoming space where we begin getting to know one another. We will talk about what brought you to therapy, what you have been experiencing, and what you hope to gain from our work together. There is no pressure to share everything all at once. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and with a clearer sense of how therapy can help. We will move at a pace that feels comfortable for you and begin creating a plan that is realistic, supportive, and centered around your goals.
