Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed psychologist offering virtual therapy for adults across Georgia. My work focuses on understanding the experiences that shaped you—and supporting you as you build new, healthier ways of moving forward. With nearly three decades as a psychologist— and years of experience in healthcare management leadership roles— I’ve learned that life is complex, but healing is always possible.

I work with adults who are dealing with anxiety, depression, stress and old wounds that still affect them today. Many of my clients come in experiencing worry and overthinking, feelings of not being good enough, or struggles with significant loss or major life changes. My clients are often looking for relief or to feel better about themselves, while others come to therapy wanting to understand what shaped them—the beliefs, experiences, and survival strategies that still influence how they think, feel, and relate to others. I also specialize in supporting LGBTQ+ individuals, and as a member of that community, I understand many of the experiences my clients bring in.

My approach to therapy

Therapy with me is collaborative, compassionate, and practical. We explore what shaped you, clarify what you want moving forward, and develop tools you can actually use in daily life. At the core of my work is a simple belief: you are the expert on your own life. My role isn’t to tell you who to be or what to choose — it’s to help you understand what shaped you and support the wisdom you already carry to do things differently going forward. I also find that a little humor can be incredibly helpful. Mental health is serious, but it doesn’t have to feel heavy all the time.

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, so I strive to create a space where you feel safe, understood, and maybe even a little lighter by the time you leave. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just ready for change, we’ll work together to find clarity and build tools that actually make a difference.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is all about getting to know you. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you in, what you hope to get out of therapy, and any questions you have. I’ll explain how I work, and together we’ll decide what feels right for you. Think of it as a conversation—no pressure, no judgment, just a chance to start building trust.
