Great to meet you!

My name is Von'Shea Banks. I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I obtained a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with an emphasis on marriage and Family therapy from Jacksonville University. I have worked in private practice, helping individuals and couples navigate life stressors and conflict for 5 years. I also have experience working with crisis intervention.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is integrative and person centered. I combine elements from different therapeutic orientations to create a holistic and tailored treatment experience for my clients.

What you can expect from me

When meeting with me, clients can expect someone honest. I hope clients show up as themselves, and I professionally do the same. I believe in being creative with how I help clients build goals. Therapy can be challenging; my goal is to help build insight, develop healthy behaviors, and create noticeable change in my client's lives once session at a time.
