Great to meet you!

I help driven, successful individuals unpack the impact of childhood trauma and family dynamics that fuel perfectionism, people-pleasing, and codependency.

Many of my clients grew up in environments where they had to be responsible, attuned, or “the strong one.” That can carry into adulthood as anxiety, people-pleasing, and a constant pressure to hold everything together.

In our work, we focus on understanding the patterns that show up across both work and relationships. You might look successful on the outside but overthink, second-guess yourself, or feel like you’re never quite doing enough.

Career-wise, this can look like difficulty slowing down, setting limits, or separating your worth from your performance. In relationships, it might show up as over-giving, avoiding conflict, or struggling to speak up for your needs without guilt.

Together, we work on helping you feel grounded in who you are so you can trust yourself, communicate more clearly, and set boundaries. The goal isn’t just insight because I'm sure you are very self-aware already, it’s actually shifting the way you feel and moving through life differently.

As a psychologist, I specialize in C-PTSD, including childhood abuse, neglect, and being adult children of immigrants, alcoholics, narcissistic, borderline, or emotionally immature parents, while also navigating high-pressure careers or parenthood.

We’ll look at how those early experiences still show up today, and help you build a way of living, working, and relating that feels more steady and sustainable.

My approach to therapy

I help clients make sense of their experiences, feel understood, and take real steps toward change.

I’m engaged and active. I’ll listen closely, ask thoughtful questions, and share observations to help you see patterns more clearly. I also explain the “why” behind things and offer practical tools, exercises, and insights you can use in your daily life.

I balance warmth with honesty. I want you to feel comforted, but I’ll also be direct when it matters. We’ll name what’s going on without shame and work through it together.

I care a lot about the relationship we build. Trust takes time, and I don’t take it lightly. I pay attention, remember the details, and stay invested in your growth.

I tend to work best with clients who are reflective, motivated, and open to being gently challenged.

What you can expect from me

I bring warmth, genuineness, and care, while also being direct, honest, and engaged. My goal is to create a place where you feel safe to explore what’s underneath the surface and supported in finding workable solutions. I take time to understand you as a whole person, helping you make sense of how your experiences shape your self-view, relationships, emotions, and identity.

We’ll focus on your strengths, look at how thoughts and behaviors connect, and validate your emotional experience so you can live with more clarity and authenticity.

Clients often describe my style as direct and grounding. I hold space for complexity while offering clear, practical guidance, especially for those navigating high expectations, visible success, and quieter personal struggles. We'll work through the impact of early experiences and family dynamics to support healthier day-to-day functioning and more fulfilling relationships.
