Walena Bryant is an LCSW and certified addiction counselor with over 25 years of providing behavioral health and addiction services. She works with adults,

children, adolescents, and families. Walena has provided treatment to those with ADHD, depression, anxiety, mood, addiction, sleep, and childhood disorders. She is experienced in CBT, DBT, trauma focused, anger management, mindfulness, and strength-based techniques.

Walena utilizes a person-centered and non-judgmental approach to addressing your needs and providing you with the skills needed to cope in your daily life. You are the expert on your life and Walena is looking forward to listening and providing support.

Walena began her behavioral health career in the United States Air Force providing counseling and support to her fellow Airmen. Her belief that everyone deserves to live their best life led her to further her education. Walena earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Oglethorpe University. She then obtained a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Georgia.

When Walena is not scrapbooking, sewing or creating in her craft room, you can find her volunteering in her community, spending time with her friends or traveling.

My approach to therapy

I am committed to helping my child and adult clients learn and implement coping skills to improve their quality of life. My work centers around anger management, mindfulness, mood disorders, trauma, depression, anxiety, sleep issues, addiction, and strength-based techniques. I believe in taking a collaborative approach to help you reach your goals. You are the expert on your life; I would like to partner with you and provide support as you heal.
