Great to meet you!

Life can become incredibly difficult when trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, or substance use begin affecting how you function and relate to yourself and others. Many people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, discouraged, or unsure if things can feel different. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Addictions Professional with nearly 30 years of experience, I’ve worked alongside individuals in a variety of settings and stages of healing, helping them reconnect with themselves and move toward lasting change.

My approach to therapy

Think of our work together like a road trip. You’re in the driver’s seat. I’m in the passenger seat with the map, pointing out what I see ahead, flagging potential detours, and helping you think through your options — but you decide where we’re going and how fast we get there. Some clients want to take the highway. Others need the back roads. Both are fine with me.

What you can expect from me

I use practical, evidence-based tools — Motivational Interviewing, CBT, and DBT — but what matters most is building a real working relationship with you. I’ll be honest with you, I’ll respect your pace, and I’ll bring everything I have to helping you figure out the next right step.
