Great to meet you!

I've been doing this work for 19 years because I genuinely believe that life can get better—even when it doesn't feel that way right now. Maybe things haven't turned out quite how you expected, or you're dealing with something that feels overwhelming. That's exactly where I come in.

I work with people navigating all kinds of challenges: addiction (both substance and behavioral), relationship struggles, depression, anxiety, grief, divorce, and major life transitions. I also specialize in working with clients who are deaf or hard of hearing, which is an area close to my heart. Whether you're trying to improve communication, rebuild self-esteem, work through intimacy issues, or figure out what you actually want from life, I'm here to help you get there.

My approach to therapy

I see therapy as a partnership. My job isn't to tell you what to do—it's to create a safe, neutral space where you can explore what's really going on and figure out what growth looks like for you. We'll work together to identify your goals and the patterns that might be holding you back, then build practical strategies to move forward.

I'm direct but compassionate, and I tailor my approach to what you need. Sometimes that means digging deep into tough stuff; other times it's about building skills and confidence. Either way, you're in the driver's seat.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is really about getting to know each other. I'll ask about what brought you in, what you're hoping to get out of therapy, and a bit about your background. There's no pressure to have everything figured out—most people don't when they start. My goal is just to understand where you're at and start mapping out where you want to go. By the end, you should have a sense of whether we're a good fit and what working together might look like.
