Great to meet you!

Trauma can live quietly in the body—held in the breath, the muscles, and the nervous system. You may experience intrusive memories, nightmares, or flashbacks; avoid people or places that feel unsafe; carry fear, guilt, or shame; or feel constantly on edge, tense, or hypervigilant. Your responses are protective patterns shaped by past experiences not signs of weakness.

My approach to therapy

Throughout my career, I have supported children, adolescents, and adults impacted by posttraumatic stress across medical, academic, nonprofit, and government settings. For over a decade, I have provided bilingual (Spanish), evidenced based, trauma-informed care to culturally diverse clients in New York City, Washington State, and California’s Central Coast.

What you can expect from me

Navigating life after trauma can feel lonely, overwhelming, or disorienting. If you’re noticing even a whisper of "maybe" or a quiet yes within you, please connect. I will be here when you’re ready. "You can’t go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending.” — C.S. Lewis
