Great to meet you!

Wanda was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She has a Master Degree in Clinical Psychology. While living in Puerto Rico she had gained experience in private practice, The Department of Health and the Department of Correction.

In 2009, Wanda relocated with her family to Orlando, Florida. Since then, she has been working as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. With more than 34 years of experience in the field of psychology, her expertise has been providing therapy mostly to adults.

My approach to therapy

Wanda has a vast experience working with Domestic Violence and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. She is also experienced in helping people with a broad range of issues including, but not limited to, depression, anxiety, chronic illness, woman issues, grief, life transition, and relationship issues.

What you can expect from me

In the first session with Wanda, the client can expect to take away an understanding of their concerns and goals, an overview of the therapeutic process, an initial treatment plan, and a sense of comfort and rapport with the counselor. Wanda likes to create a space free of judgement where the client can express freely their thoughts, feelings and concerns.
