Great to meet you!

Whole-Person Counseling for Anxiety, Chronic Pain, Health Changes & Life Transitions

If anxiety, chronic pain, health concerns, grief, relationships, or other life changes have left you feeling unlike yourself, I am here to help. I work with adults and older adults navigating life transitions, emotional challenges, health changes, chronic pain, grief and loss, and relationship concerns.

I am a licensed therapist with almost two decades of counseling experience and a background in medical settings, including health and wellness. I am also a Pain Reprocessing Therapist (PRT). My own experience with chronic health concerns and chronic pain has given me a personal understanding of how these challenges can affect mood, sleep, relationships, and overall quality of life.

My approach is collaborative and tailored to each person's needs and goals. Together, we can identify what is getting in the way, build on your strengths, and develop practical ways to move forward.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, strengths-based, and tailored to each client’s individual needs and goals.

I believe clients bring strengths and abilities that can be built upon, even during difficult times. Together, we will identify meaningful goals, develop practical skills, and work toward greater confidence, emotional well-being, and an improved quality of life. I especially enjoy supporting clients navigating chronic health conditions, chronic pain, and significant life changes.

I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Mindfulness-Based interventions, and Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT).

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity to feel heard, understood, and comfortable beginning the counseling process. I believe a strong, trusting counseling relationship is the foundation of effective therapy. We will talk about what brings you to therapy, what you hope to accomplish, and what support you need. My priority is creating a safe, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space where you can feel comfortable discussing difficult thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace. From there, we can begin identifying goals and developing a direction for therapy that fits your individual needs.
