Great to meet you!

I bring over a decade of experience to this work, but more importantly, I bring a deep belief in people’s ability to change, heal, and reconnect with themselves and the relationships that matter most. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s degree in Marriage & Family Therapy, and I’ve spent my career helping individuals, couples, and families move through relationship challenges, addiction, spiritual conflict, and emotional disconnection.

My approach is both professional and personal. I’ve been married for more than two decades and understand firsthand how relationships evolve, how communication can break down, and how healing requires honesty, courage, and patience. This lived experience, combined with my clinical training, allows me to meet clients with empathy, clarity, and a practical path forward.

Over the years, I have worked in private practice, outpatient programs, community mental health, and faith-based settings. I am trained in Reality Therapy, trauma-informed care, and various relationship-based modalities that help clients identify their needs and create healthier patterns.

I work with adults, couples, and individuals navigating relationship stress, communication issues, trust and intimacy challenges, spiritual transitions, religious trauma, identity confusion, or addiction (substance-related or behavioral). Clients often tell me they appreciate my direct but compassionate style and my ability to make complex emotional issues feel manageable. My goal is always to create a safe, grounded space where you can be honest, explore what’s really going on beneath the surface, and feel supported—not judged—throughout the process.

Whether we’re addressing your relationship, your spirituality, or struggles with addiction, I want you to know that you don’t have to have everything figured out before you come in. You just have to be willing to start. I’m here to walk the journey with you.

My approach to therapy

My approach is direct, compassionate, and practical. I believe change happens when you understand what you truly need — love, power, freedom, fun, and survival — and learn how to meet those needs in healthy ways. Whether you’re navigating communication breakdowns, trust issues, past trauma, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself or your partner, I work with you to create a path forward that actually fits your life.

What you can expect from me

When you come to me for support with relationship struggles, spiritual concerns, or addiction, you can expect a grounded, compassionate, and practical experience designed to meet you exactly where you are. My work centers on helping you understand the patterns that shape your life—emotionally, relationally, and spiritually—so you can begin creating real and lasting change.
