Great to meet you!

You’re the person people depend on. You handle responsibilities, stay productive, push through stress, and keep moving even when you’re overwhelmed. Most people would never know how much anxiety, overthinking, pressure, or emotional exhaustion you carry internally.

Your mind rarely shuts off. You replay conversations, anticipate problems, stay hyperaware of other people’s reactions, and struggle to fully relax. Maybe you’ve become irritable, emotionally disconnected, stuck in your head, or feel like you’re constantly functioning in survival mode. Even when life looks stable from the outside, internally it can feel exhausting.

I work with high-functioning adults and couples who are tired of carrying everything alone. Many of my clients struggle with anxiety, overthinking, burnout, perfectionism, relationship stress, emotional disconnection, and the pressure of always needing to hold it together.

I’m Warren Heard, a licensed psychotherapist with more than 16 years of experience in behavioral health. My approach is direct, practical, and focused on real change. I’m not the type of therapist who simply listens and nods. I help clients understand the patterns driving their anxiety and stress, process difficult experiences, improve communication and relationships, and develop tools that help them feel more grounded and in control.

If you’re tired of overthinking everything, feeling emotionally exhausted, or carrying the weight of life on your own, therapy can help.

My approach to therapy

In therapy, I provide a space where clients can process openly without judgment while also developing tools that create meaningful change in daily life. I integrate insight-oriented therapy with evidence-based approaches such as CBT, ACT, and EMDR to help clients better understand their patterns, manage emotions more effectively, and respond to themselves with greater clarity and self-compassion.

I particularly enjoy working with clients who want more than just symptom relief, people who are motivated to understand themselves more deeply, improve relationships, build healthier coping strategies, and feel more grounded and intentional in their lives. My style is supportive, honest, and conversational, balancing emotional processing with practical strategies clients can apply outside of session.

What you can expect from me

In our sessions, you can expect a thoughtful, grounded space where you’re met with care and practical support. Together, we’ll identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, explore underlying emotions or beliefs, and work toward clarity and forward movement. Whether the focus is on immediate coping or deeper insight, each session is designed to help you feel more empowered, more connected to your values, and better equipped to navigate challenges in your daily life and relationships.

My goal is for you to leave each session with something tangible, whether it’s a new perspective, a skill to practice, or simply the relief of having been truly heard.
