Great to meet you!

If there is one common human emotion, it is a feeling that we are doing the best we can, with the options we see as available to us. We like to feel we always make our best decisions.

Throughout my career, I have had the honor of working with people at all levels of life. Many who are seeking change, and some who have been forced to talk with a therapist. All of whom are, on some level, scared of the change they are seeking.

Whatever brings you here, I offer warmth and compassion.

My approach to therapy

I believe that therapy is about addressing your goals, first.

What are you defining as your best hope for the future? That is all that matters in the beginning: 'what brings you in, today?' From there, we build out how to get there.

As with any journey with a hopeful, but still unknown destination, there will be mistakes. Mistakes are not to be feared; mistakes are feedback!

We will start by setting small goals, and as those are met, harder goals feel more possible!

What you can expect from me

I believe in using action items in therapy. What is something you took away from our meeting today, and how can it be meaningfully applied?

You and I will work together to develop strategies for your own success, that you feel are important to your quality of life.
