Great to meet you!

I understand that starting therapy can feel overwhelming, especially when you’ve been carrying a lot on your own. My goal is to create a space where you feel understood, supported, and not judged—while also feeling gently challenged to grow. I want clients to leave sessions feeling more grounded, more empowered, and more connected to themselves, with a clearer sense of how to move forward in their own lives.

I am a bilingual Arabic-English Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) providing affirming, culturally responsive care to adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. I offer services in both English and Arabic, creating an accessible and inclusive space for clients from diverse backgrounds and lived experiences.

My approach to therapy

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and direct. I am trained in several evidence-based modalities, including EMDR, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and trauma-informed care. My primary approach is EMDR, allowing us to not only process painful memories but also understand and heal the parts of you that have carried those burdens for so long. Together, we will explore patterns, relationships, thoughts, emotions, and experiences that may be keeping you stuck while building on your strengths and resilience.

At the core of my work is helping you make sense of your experiences, understand patterns that feel stuck or repeated, and build healthier ways of relating to yourself and others.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a conversation focused on getting to know you, understanding what brings you to therapy, and identifying what you hope to gain from our work together. We will move at a pace that feels comfortable for you while creating a roadmap for your healing journey. Therapy is challenging work, but it can also be meaningful, empowering, and even include moments of humor along the way. This is also a space for you to ask questions and get a sense of whether working together feels right. My goal is to help you make sense of your experiences, deepen your understanding of yourself, and move toward a life that feels more aligned with your values and goals. You do not have to carry it all alone.
