Wendi Sellers

Wendi Sellers is a dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with a deep commitment to improving the mental health and well-being of people of all ages. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from UCLA, where she developed a strong foundation in understanding human behavior. Wendi then pursued her Master’s in Nursing from California State University, Fullerton, followed by a Post Master’s Certificate as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Western University of Health Sciences. Her comprehensive education and training have provided her with the skills and knowledge necessary to offer compassionate and effective care to those in need.

Wendi utilizes a holistic approach to mental health treatment, with medication being just one tool in the broader toolkit. While she recognizes the importance of pharmacological interventions, especially in managing certain psychiatric conditions, she emphasizes that medication alone is not the answer. Instead, she strives to integrate therapy, family support, and coping strategies alongside medication to help her patients find true peace and freedom. Above all, Wendi is dedicated to empowering her patients — especially children — to overcome their challenges and thrive in a supportive and nurturing environment.

In your first session with me, you can expect a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where we’ll explore your mental health history, current concerns, and goals for treatment. Together, we’ll begin developing a personalized care plan that may include therapy, lifestyle support, and medication management if appropriate.
