Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I am deeply committed to supporting individuals in navigating life's challenges and fostering emotional well-being. With specialized expertise in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and trauma-informed care, I work collaboratively with adult clients to address a wide range of mental health concerns, including trauma, anxiety, depression, and stress-related conditions.

My approach to therapy

My approach is grounded in the belief that healing occurs through the integration of mind, body, and spirituality. EMDR allows me to help clients process and heal from past traumatic experiences, reducing the emotional intensity of memories and facilitating healthier responses to triggers. CBT is utilized to assist clients in identifying and reframing unhelpful thought patterns, empowering them to make positive changes in their behavior and emotional responses. Additionally, my trauma-informed care ensures that all interventions are sensitive to the unique experiences of each client, creating a safe and supportive environment where individuals can explore their emotions and develop effective coping strategies.

What you can expect from me

During your first session with me, you can expect to answer some questions about your background and mental health history to help me understand your unique situation and needs. We will also discuss your expectations for therapy, as well as the potential benefits and limitations of the therapeutic process. I will review the limits of confidentiality to ensure you understand how your information will be protected, while also acknowledging legal situations where I may need to share information. Additionally, we’ll take some time to explore whether my skills and approach are a good match for your needs, and if we feel we would be a good fit to work together in the therapeutic process. This initial conversation is an important step in building a trusting and collaborative relationship.
