Great to meet you!

41 years of experience as a therapist.

Focusing on family communication, parenting, adjustment issues for adults and adolescents, stress management, gender/sexuality issues, and coping with chronic medical problems.

"Sometimes the questions are complicated and the answers are simple" (Dr. Seuss)

My approach to therapy

I take a pretty practical approach: engaging people by being informal and friendly, helping people to solve their own problems by offering empathy and encouragement, asking questions, and giving advice only when it's wanted, I use elements of CBT, DBT, and EFT.

What you can expect from me

To feel better than when they came in, have some things to work on during the week, and to know they can contact me any time.
