Great to meet you!

I believe therapy is a collaborative process where you should feel heard, respected, and supported while working toward meaningful change. My approach is compassionate, practical, and individualized because no two people, families, or situations are exactly alike.

I work with children, adolescents, adults, and families experiencing a variety of emotional, behavioral, and relational concerns. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where clients can better understand themselves, develop effective coping skills, strengthen relationships, and build confidence in their ability to navigate life’s challenges.

My therapeutic style combines empathy with structure and accountability. I focus on identifying patterns that may be contributing to current difficulties while helping clients develop realistic strategies they can use in their everyday lives. When working with children and families, I place particular emphasis on communication, emotional regulation, behavior, boundaries, parenting support, and strengthening healthy relationships.

I understand that reaching out for therapy can be difficult. My goal is to meet you where you are, understand what you need, and work together to identify a path forward. Whether you are seeking support for yourself, your child, or your family, I want therapy to be a place where you can feel understood while developing the tools necessary to create lasting and meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and individualized. I believe effective therapy begins with creating a safe, supportive environment where clients feel heard, respected, and understood without judgment. I work with each client to identify their strengths, understand patterns that may be contributing to current challenges, and develop practical skills for creating meaningful change.

I incorporate evidence-based therapeutic approaches while adapting treatment to the individual needs, developmental level, and goals of each client. I place particular emphasis on emotional regulation, communication, coping skills, healthy boundaries, self-awareness, and strengthening relationships.

When working with children and families, I believe collaboration is especially important. I work to understand the child within the context of their family, school, and environment while helping parents and caregivers develop effective strategies to support positive behavioral and emotional growth.

My goal is not simply to help clients manage symptoms, but to help them develop greater confidence, resilience, and the skills they need to navigate challenges more effectively. I meet clients where they are while providing encouragement, structure, and accountability as they work toward lasting change.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a comfortable, trusting therapeutic relationship. I will take time to listen to what brought you to therapy, understand your current concerns, and learn about your goals and what you hope to accomplish through treatment.

We will discuss relevant history, current challenges, strengths, and areas of your life that may be contributing to your concerns. I will also explain my approach to therapy, answer questions, review expectations, and work with you to begin developing an individualized treatment plan.

I believe the first session should feel supportive rather than overwhelming. You do not have to have everything figured out before you walk through the door. My goal is to meet you where you are, help you feel comfortable, and begin identifying practical steps toward positive change.
