Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical psychologist in Texas (License #38884) providing evidence-based psychotherapy for a range of psychological problems in adults. My specialties include coping with chronic pain, recovering from trauma, and learning to manage difficult emotions.

I obtained my doctorate from the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR) in 2011. For the past decade, I have worked extensively in the treatment of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), chronic pain, and emotion dysregulation.

My approach to therapy

I take a recovery-oriented approach with even the most severe issues. My approach is to work collaboratively with you to learn new behaviors and skills to replace ineffective patterns of behavior that are interfering in your life. I believe the outcome of therapy is to help you live a life in accordance to your values and long-term goals. I will strive to give you the guidance and tools to make that a reality.

What you can expect from me

My work is rooted in science and I am committed to using cutting-edge, evidence-based treatments, including ACT, DBT, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I want to provide my clients with skills and new ways of engaging with others and themselves so they can achieve their life worth living.
