Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 13 years of experience supporting individuals and families of various ages. With my skill set I help clients navigate depression, anxiety, postpartum, family stress, intimate partner violence, crisis interventions, major life transitions and so much more. I provide therapy services and specialize in conducting comprehensive biopsychosocial and diagnostic assessments for individuals seeking mental health evaluation, diagnosis, and support. Helping individuals gain a clearer understanding of their mental health through comprehensive evaluations. I help individuals gain a clearer understanding of their mental health through comprehensive evaluations.

Using clinical diagnostic tools, I evaluate presenting symptoms and provide accurate diagnoses. I gather detailed background information and use evidence-based diagnostic methods to determine the most clinically appropriate diagnosis. During the assessment process, I draw from structured interviews, standardized measures, and clinical observation to gain a comprehensive understanding of each individual’s emotional, behavioral, and psychological functioning. Once the diagnostic evaluation is complete, I provide appropriate referrals tailored to each client’s needs—whether that includes specialized therapy/treatment, psychiatry for medication management/evaluation, or other supportive services. I am committed to helping clients access the right level of care and begin a treatment plan that aligns with their goals, symptoms, and long-term well-being.

My approach to therapy

My approach is grounded in professionalism and supported by strong clinical judgment, thorough assessment skills, active listening, and adherence to ethical practice standards. I strive to create a welcoming, respectful, safe, and supportive environment where clients feel heard and comfortable sharing their experiences, allowing them to engage openly throughout the evaluation process. I work to understand each person’s whole story and identify the concerns that may be impacting their well-being. My diagnostic assessments are designed to bring clarity, guidance, and reassurance—helping clients make sense of what they’re feeling and what steps may best support their next stage of healing and empowerment. My therapeutic approach is warm, empathetic, and solution focused. I create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and supported while working collaboratively to build insight, strengthen coping skills, and promote meaningful change. I draw from evidence-based modalities including CBT, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness-Based Techniques, Trauma-Informed Care, and Strengths-Based approaches, as well as others.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my focus is to help you feel comfortable and supported. I’ll review confidentiality and outline what therapy and the assessment process will look like. We’ll discuss what brought you in, what you’re experiencing, and what you hope to change. As we continue, we’ll explore your present concerns as well as relevant past experiences to better understand your emotional health, relationships, stressors, strengths, and goals. By the end of the session, you’ll have a clearer sense of next steps and feel understood and supported as you begin your therapeutic journey.

My practice centers on advocacy, empowerment, and connecting clients with the resources that best support their well-being. I offer a grounded, approachable, and supportive presence to help clients move forward with confidence. My goal is to provide clear, clinically sound diagnoses, effective and empowering therapeutic support, and actionable next steps, helping clients develop a personalized treatment plan that aligns with their needs and promotes lasting well-being
