Great to meet you!

I specialize in working with preteens, teens, young adults, and families as they navigate the transition from childhood to adulthood. I have experience helping clients with anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, relationship and family concerns, parenting challenges, and major life transitions.

My approach is warm, practical, trauma-aware, and relational. I want clients to feel heard and understood while also helping them develop the skills, confidence, and resilience to move forward.

As a Christian, I am happy to integrate faith into therapy when that is important to my clients. I’m also married and a parent of two teenagers, so I understand both personally and professionally that growing up—and raising young people—is a journey filled with challenges, growth, and change.

My approach to therapy

I use an integrative, holistic approach to therapy, tailoring treatment to each client rather than relying on a single method. I draw from evidence-based approaches such as CBT, attachment-based therapy, family systems, and trauma-informed care to help clients understand patterns, develop healthier ways of coping, and create meaningful change.

I believe therapy should address the whole person and consider how our experiences, relationships, thoughts, emotions, and environment shape who we are. When requested, I also incorporate Christian faith and biblical principles into the therapeutic process.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and for me to begin understanding you—not just the problem that brought you to therapy. We’ll talk about what you’re experiencing, what matters to you, and what you hope will be different.

There is no pressure to have everything figured out or to share everything at once. Together, we’ll identify your goals and begin creating a path forward. My role is to support, encourage, and challenge you as you gain insight, make meaningful changes, and grow beyond the therapy room.
