Great to meet you!

I am passionate about representation in mental health and pride myself on being a multiculturally competent therapist with a wide array of experiences working with diverse populations, which includes being an LGBTQA+ affirming counselor and a fluent Spanish speaker. I believe that a warm, open-minded, client-centered, & non-judgemental environment is essential in beginning to heal and growing to the best version of yourself.

My approach to therapy

I would describe my clinical style as eclectic, finding it most important to meet the client where they are and incorporate their passions and interests into sessions.I have experience utilizing Play Therapy techniques, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), strength approaches, Motivational Interviewing, and aspects of values-based Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
