Great to meet you!

I offer a genuine, welcoming, and supportive therapeutic space, balancing warmth with a direct and honest approach to help clients create meaningful change. I strive to be understanding and collaborative, meeting clients where they are while supporting growth.

I have over five years of clinical experience working across a variety of settings, including county social programs, community mental health, pediatric hospital- Rady Children’s Hospital, and specialized group practices serving BIPOC communities and children, youth, and families. Currently, I work in a practice focused on supporting children and youth with ADHD and anxiety, as well as parents through parent coaching and family-based care.

I am trained in evidence-based modalities including CBT, DBT, ACT, PMT, TF-CBT, STAND, SPACE, and PCIT, and I tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs and strengths.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and practical. I work to create a safe and supportive space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered, while also providing tools to support meaningful change. I believe therapy should be both validating and skill-building.

I have specialized training and a strong passion for supporting the neurodivergent community, with a focus on ADHD and executive functioning challenges. I enjoy working with children, youth, and families, and often incorporate parent coaching to support not only the individual, but also those who love and care for them. I use evidence-based approaches tailored to each client’s needs.

Providing culturally responsive therapy is central to my work. I value the role of culture, family, and community in shaping identity and well-being, and I am mindful of the unique strengths and challenges often present in first-generation and multicultural communities. I take a whole-person approach that extends beyond the individual, helping clients strengthen connections, build supportive systems, and enhance resiliency.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect their first session with me to feel supportive and centered on their unique needs. I aim to create a safe, welcoming environment where you feel heard, respected, and comfortable asking questions. The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin exploring what meaningful change looks like for YOU.

I take a client-centered approach, focusing on understanding your concerns, strengths, values, and goals. Together, we will identify initial areas of focus, which may include improving planning and organization skills, strengthening family relationships, reducing anxiety, or addressing other challenges that feel most important to you. These goals are flexible and may evolve as we learn what works best for you and your life.

Overall, the first session is about building trust, gaining clarity, and laying the foundation for positive, sustainable change—with guidance, structure, and encouragement every step of the way.
