Dr. Wendy Morua, received her doctoral degree from the University of Houston. Dr. Morua is licensed as a psychologist and has over 20 years of experience working with persons of all ages and from all life experiences. If you are struggling, in emotional crisis, or dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, or life transitions, counseling sessions are designed to provide high-quality care.

My approach to therapy

Dr. Morua's approach with therapy is to promote a safe environment, to validate and empower clients, and to use evidenced based theoretical approaches like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Positive Psychology and Attachment Focused Psychotherapy when developing their treatment plans.
