Great to meet you!

I have a masters degree in developmental psychology from Union Institute & University (Vermont College), and an advanced graduate certificate (Post-graduate) in clinical mental health counseling from University of Buffalo. I began this journey working as a teaching assistant in a special education class with kids diagnosed with emotional disabilities. I moved on to intensive case management working with families with serious needs. Since then I have worked in a children's clinic, adult clinics, on a mobile crisis unit, and hospital emergency rooms. I have been in private practice since 2020, both in-person and online. I also work as a clinical supervisor for pre-licensed therapists. I am a LGBTQIA+ ally. I recognize and honor the unique needs of this community. I specialize in working with first responders, veterans, medical personnel, and other clinicians.

My approach to therapy

My life experience is a tapestry of stories, challenges, and heartbreak too. It helps me show up with empathy, honesty, and authenticity for the people I work with. I’m straightforward and down‐to‐earth—I won’t talk down to you or pretend everything is easy, and I won’t offer rainbows and unicorns. What I can offer is a steady, compassionate space and the belief that healing and growth are truly possible.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. I’ll ask you questions about your life, your experiences, and the symptoms or concerns that brought you to therapy. We’ll talk about your goals as well as what you can expect from me and how we’ll work together.
