Great to meet you!

I graduated from USC with a Masters in Social Work. Some my expereince includes case management, crisis intervention and community mental health. As a first generation Latina, navigating the professional world and being late diagnosed ADHD, much of my work as been targeted towards individuals with similar experiences. Some common areas of work include ADHD, burn out, executive dysfunction, depression/anxiety, family or relationship challenges, and more. Feel free to reach out with any questions or to schedule a consult! My area of focus is targeted towards Queer/BIPOC folx, 16+ years old.

My approach to therapy

I take a person centered approach to therapy which also combining various modalities including CBT, ACT, Structure Problem Solving, Solution Focused, Humanistic and more to best meet your needs. I prefer to create an environment that is safe, affirming and laid back compared to a more traditional clinical setting. My approach also includes viewing therapy from an anti-oppressive, decolonized lens.

What you can expect from me

During our first session we will spend time getting to know each other and establish our goals for therapy. I encourage clients to direct the pacing of therapy, while I may also provide guidance and structure when needed to help us reach our intended goals.
