Great to meet you!

I am a mom of two children and two cats, coach softball and volunteer at the local animal shelter with my children. I have been in the mental health field for over 20 years and an Licensed Professional Counselor for 15 years. I have worked with a variety of populations and assisted clients with a wide array of issues. In addition to Headway, I have been providing mental health services in schools for the past 7 years. I have also provided family therapy for families and children involved with The Division of Child Protection and Permanency as well as services for adults struggling with mental illnesses such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and trauma.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach is ecclectic and client centered. I use techniques from various models depending on the needs of my clients. My goal is always to empower the client to take control of their lives and emotions and help to improve their lives in every aspect.

What you can expect from our first session

My clients can expect a safe, non-judgmental environment where they will feel heard and comfortable exploring their experiences and emotions. They will develop new coping strategies and tools for managing life’s challenges. Our sessions will foster self-awareness, communication and advocacy skills and a greater sense of control over your life.
