Great to meet you!

My philosophy as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner is rooted in the belief that every individual deserves compassionate, evidence-based, and person-centered mental health care-care that recognizes not only symptoms, but the human experience behind them. After more than 18 years serving my community as an ER nurse, I have witnessed the profound need for accessible, empathetic behavioral health support. These experiences have shaped my conviction that mental health is inseparable from physical, emotional, and social well-being.

I graduated from Walden University with a Master's of Science in Nursing specializing in Psychiatric Mental Health in 2026. As an Advanced Care Provider, I provide care for diagnosis, medication management and different types of therapy.

My approach to therapy

As a PMHNP, my goal is to foster a healing environment where patients feel heard, validated, and empowered in their own care. I believe in in integrating holistic approaches, promoting resilience, and building therapeutic partnerships that honor the strengths of every individual.

My commitment is to improve access to quality psychiatric care in my community-because healing begins with trust, and trust grows when care is delivered by someone who understands the people they serve.

What you can expect from me

Your first visit is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and understand what you’ve been experiencing.

We’ll talk about your current concerns, symptoms, medical and mental health history, medications, sleep, stressors, and anything else that may be affecting your well-being. I’ll also ask questions about your safety because your well-being is my priority.

We’ll work together to identify your goals and discuss treatment options that may be appropriate for you. This may include medication, therapy recommendations, lifestyle changes, or other resources.

You do not have to have everything figured out before you come in. There is no judgment and no “right” answer. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being honest, asking questions, and actively participating in your care.

Most importantly, we’ll develop a plan together that makes sense for you.
