Great to meet you!

Great to meet you! I'm Wendy, a Licensed Therapist and I'd love to be a part of your journey. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, relationship stress, trauma, and identity — including people who've spent a long time looking for a therapist who truly honors who they are. I'm an affirming therapist: that means all genders, sexualities, faiths, and family structures are welcome here, fully and without condition. I believe that feeling genuinely seen — not just tolerated — is the foundation that makes real change possible. I value authenticity and openness, and I try to bring both to every session.

My approach to therapy

Our work together starts with your story — where you've been, what you're carrying, and where you want to go. I draw primarily on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Strength-Based approaches, and I adapt what I use to what actually fits you. CBT gives us concrete tools to examine patterns of thought that might be keeping you stuck. When you're feeling ambivalent about change — which is completely human — Motivational Interviewing lets us explore that honestly, without pressure. And a Strength-Based lens means we're always building on what's already working in you, not just cataloguing what isn't.

What you can expect from me

During the first therapy session we will review confidentiality and logistics, discuss your goals and expectations, and begin getting to know one another. I strive to create a warm, welcoming environment that allows you to feel comfortable sharing and being vulnerable, while also feeling secure.
