Great to meet you!

Is your child struggling? Are positive relationships difficult to build and/or maintain? Emotions too overwhelming? Empathy and compassion in short supply? Is your child having a hard time expressing wants, needs, and/or finding solutions to problems big or small? Is your relationship with your child a power struggle? You are not alone! I have successfully counseled hundreds of kiddos dealing with these developmental issues.

My approach to therapy

Through listening, teaching, coaching, and challenging negative thinking, I help young people identify what truly matters and then assist them with developing healthy ways of achieving success: improving relationship skills, self-esteem, and internalizing healthy coping skills for reducing and managing stress, anger, anxiety, etc.

What you can expect from me

Kids should be empowered to solve their own problems, but they often need guidance, support, and practice. Self-advocacy, positive coping skills for handling strong emotions, and skills for building genuine relationships should be the key results of therapy.
