Great to meet you!
Becoming a parent—or caring for a young child—is one of life's most meaningful experiences, but it can also bring unexpected stress, anxiety, grief, self-doubt, and emotional overwhelm. Whether you're navigating pregnancy, postpartum challenges, parenting struggles, or the lasting impact of your own childhood experiences, you don't have to face it alone.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Play Therapist with over 15 years of experience supporting children, parents, and families. I specialize in maternal and postpartum mental health, parenting, early childhood attachment, and healing from unresolved childhood trauma. My work is grounded in the belief that our earliest relationships shape how we experience ourselves and others—and that healing those relationships can create lasting change for both adults and children.
As an immigrant and multicultural clinician, I understand that every family's story is shaped by culture, identity, values, and life experiences. I provide therapy in both English and Mandarin and strive to create a warm, culturally responsive space where clients feel understood, respected, and empowered.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. Together, we'll build on your strengths, explore patterns that may no longer serve you, and develop new ways of responding that foster healing, confidence, and connection. I integrate evidence-based approaches, including Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), CBT, TF-CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, play therapy, and attachment-based interventions, to tailor treatment to your unique needs.
Whether you're preparing for parenthood, adjusting to life with a new baby, navigating the challenges of parenting, or seeking to heal from experiences that continue to affect your relationships today, I would be honored to walk alongside you. My goal is to help you feel more connected—to yourself, your child, and the life you want to build.
