Wesley has been a counselor for 15 years. He is experienced in marriage and family counseling and has worked with children, teens, adults, couples, and families. He is passionate about supporting people during challenging experiences in their lives and helping them develop the tools, skills, and confidence they need to improve their mental health.

My approach to therapy

His approach to counseling begins with active listening while building a relationship of trust and respect. He strives to provide his clients with a safe, non-judgmental environment where they are free to explore and learn in ways that best suit their individual needs. He utilizes tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy which gives his clients the knowledge and power they need to make positive changes in their lives.

What you can expect from me

The first counseling session is an important opportunity to create a safe, respectful, and supportive working relationship. During this initial meeting, I will introduce the counseling process, explain confidentiality and its limitations and encourage you to share your concerns, experiences and reasons for pursuing counseling. We will begin to set appropriate goals for your counseling experiencing.
