I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with 9 years of experience treating adults with anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, sleep problems, and other mental health concerns.
I have worked with people from many different backgrounds, including professionals in high-pressure fields on the Space Coast, such as healthcare, education, business, engineering, and aerospace-related work. I understand that someone can appear highly functional on the outside while still struggling internally with anxiety, depression, attention problems, burnout, or emotional exhaustion.
My style is calm, respectful, and easy to talk to. I know that starting care with a new provider can feel stressful, especially if you have had past experiences where you felt rushed, judged, or not fully heard.
My goal is to make the process feel clear, comfortable, and collaborative.
When medication is appropriate, I explain the reasoning clearly so you understand the purpose of the treatment, the expected benefits, possible side effects, and realistic timelines. I do not believe in a rushed or one-size-fits-all approach.
I also pay attention to lifestyle, stress, sleep, relationships, work demands, and patterns of thinking that may be affecting your mental health. My goal is to help you function better, feel more stable, and regain a stronger sense of control in your life.
Your first session will be a conversation, not an interrogation. We will review what brought you in, your current symptoms, your history, prior treatments, medications, medical factors, and your goals for care.
You do not need to have everything perfectly organized before the appointment. I will guide the conversation and ask the questions needed to understand your situation.
