Wesley-Martin Ervin

My name is Wesley, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist living in Lemoore, California. I work with adolescents and adults, specializing in anxiety, stress, depression, and queer identity. Much of my work comes from a place of engaging on a personal level and drawing knowledge from client's interests. Being able to talk with client's about their passions and interests, using them as parallels to our lives and finding growth with them is such an honor and a joy to cultivate.

My approach is fairly eclectic, drawing resources and tools from different theories based on client's needs. My most commonly used approach is a less well-known approach called geek therapy. With this, I enjoy using video games and pop culture to understand clients and meet them where they are most comfortable. Along with this, I focus on queer culture and studies, to better help my queer family.

Ultimately, my goal is to collaborate and be a witness to growth and success. It is not my place to force you down a path, I am here to help you see your way forward and to pick you up when you trip. I hope you can leave our sessions having found what you need and having had some goofiness or fun along the way.
