Great to meet you!

Welcome! I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who currently works predominantly with adults ages 18 and older. In 2018 I graduated with my MA in Mental Health Counseling since graduation I have been working in a private practice setting, gaining daily experience working with a multitude of mental health issues. I have internship experience working at a substance abuse clinic (with clients 15 and older) and as a college counselor working with students facing multiple mental health challenges.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My ultimate goal is to ensure that my clients feel safe, comfortable, understood, and supported within a therapeutic environment. In my work, I utilize a mix of evidence-based theories, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and psychoanalytic therapy. I believe in connecting with clients on a human level through conversational sessions, while also maintaining professionalism. I treat each client as a unique individual and work collaboratively with my clients to guide treatment.

What you can expect from our first session

Clients can expect to walk away from sessions with greater insight into their current difficulties and when appropriate, will be provided with resources or coping mechanisms to help alleviate the symptoms due to these struggles. Clients will feel in control of their treatment at all times, including the length of treatment, what is discussed and shared, and their goals for sessions. My ultimate goal is that clients will leave each session feeling heard and understood without judgment.
