Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Mental Health Clinician and Licensed Professional Counselor in NY and CT. I graduated with my Master in Mental Health Counseling in 2018 and now serve as an adjunct professor in the program teaching counselors-in-training crisis and trauma counseling. My passion is to help and guide individuals toward developing a better understanding of themselves and increase overall life satisfaction, interpersonal relationships, and most importantly, a healthy relationship within themselves.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I use evidence-based practices to allow clients to “grow with the flow” in a healthy, individualized, and satisfying way. I guide clients to achieve optimal wellness through nurturing their inner experiences and encouraging the practice of skills already obtained and the development of new adaptive skills that allow for flexibility and change. My conversational and relaxed approach allows my clients to feel safe, go deeper, and work on the core of the problem rather than the presenting symptom.

What you can expect from our first session

I work collaboratively with clients to identify therapeutic goals. After the first several sessions you will notice a natural, conversational rhythm to sessions is formed. Some sessions may be heavier than others and can affect experiences outside of therapy and you may also notice progress toward your goals feels up and down..all normal experiences! Clients are encouraged to fuse new skills into their daily life and to write down any issues or difficulties that come up between therapy sessions.
