My approach to therapy

Our first session is focused on getting to know you—your story, your concerns, and what you’d like to change or improve. When appropriate, this may include a comprehensive evaluation for concerns like ADHD or mood disorders to better understand your symptoms and needs. From there, we’ll work together to create a personalized plan that may include medication management, therapy-based strategies, or both. I often incorporate approaches like CBT and motivational interviewing to help you build practical skills and insight. Sessions are collaborative and paced to your comfort level, with regular check-ins to make sure we’re making progress and adjusting as needed.

What you can expect from me

I believe that healing starts with feeling truly heard. I create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can openly share what you’re going through. My approach is collaborative and down-to-earth—I’ll meet you where you are and work alongside you to help you move forward. I enjoy working with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, and life transitions. I also provide thoughtful ADHD evaluations for those seeking clarity and direction. Clients often tell me they feel comfortable, understood, and supported from the very beginning.
