Great to meet you!

I’m Whitney Horner, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 6 years of experience supporting individuals through anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and major life transitions. I’m also certified in perinatal mental health (PMH-C), with a special passion for helping women navigate pregnancy, postpartum, infertility, and the emotional changes that come with motherhood.

I understand that life can feel overwhelming, especially when you’re carrying difficult emotions or navigating a season of change. My goal is to create a warm, judgment-free space where you feel heard, supported, and comfortable being yourself.

Whether you’re processing a loss, working through past experiences, managing anxiety, or adjusting to a new chapter of life, we’ll work together to build healthier coping skills, gain clarity, and help you feel more confident moving forward.

My approach to therapy

I believe everyone has the potential to heal and grow, and I work alongside my clients to help them find what that looks like in their own lives. I start by listening and getting to know you, then draw on approaches that fit your needs. That might include working through grief or difficult emotions, building coping skills, or finding ways to manage anxiety. My hope is to help you find peace in your current circumstances and a way forward.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a chance for me to listen and learn about what you’re going through. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what feels most difficult right now, and what you hope to get out of our time together. You’re welcome to ask questions, and you can share your story at your own pace. From there, we’ll talk about how I can best support you.
