Great to meet you!

Hello! I'm so glad you're here. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I received my graduate degree in Social Work from Tulane University. I have a wealth of experience working with individuals in the areas of identity exploration, difficult life transitions, depression, anxiety, trauma, LGBTQ+-related needs, and burnout prevention.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I believe it is important to honor the unique needs of each individual and tailor the therapeutic experience accordingly. I often utilize a combination of psycho-education, mindfulness/relaxation practices, and components of cognitive behavioral therapy. Most importantly, I approach everyone with an empathetic understanding and unconditional positive regard.

What you can expect from our first session

Through the therapeutic process, we can work together to explore the challenges you're facing. Whether you're unsure about your career, who you are in the world, or how to manage daily stress - we'll tackle it together. During our time, I will work to understand you in the present and where you'd like to be in the future. Through the therapeutic relationship, we can work towards your goals, develop a better understanding of self, and how to appropriately cope with life stressors.
