Great to meet you!

Finding the right therapist is about finding someone who creates a space where you feel comfortable being yourself, exploring challenges, and making meaningful change. I strive to create a space that feels genuine, collaborative, and judgment-free, where you can show up as you are (even on the messy days).

I have over 10 years of experience working with adults navigating anxiety, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, stress, and relationship challenges. My background includes six years providing mental health services in a correctional setting, which strengthened my ability to meet people with openness, curiosity, and compassion regardless of their story.

My approach is practical, but therapy doesn't have to feel heavy all the time. I believe humor, honesty, and meaningful conversations can all be part of the process. We'll work together to understand what’s happening, identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and find strategies that actually fit your life.

I enjoy working with clients who are ready to participate in the process, explore new perspectives, and make intentional changes. Whether you're facing a major transition or simply feeling like something needs to shift, we'll work together to help you move forward with more clarity, confidence, and purpose.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, practical, and focused on helping you understand yourself in a new way. I believe lasting change happens when we understand not only what we are experiencing, but the patterns, beliefs, and stories that influence how we respond.

Therapy with me is a place to explore honestly, challenge yourself compassionately, and develop tools that fit your real life. I’ll work alongside you to identify what’s working, what’s keeping you stuck, and what changes will help you move forward with more confidence and intention.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a chance for me to really get to know you and your story. I typically give clients space to share their experiences in their own words, starting all the way back to the beginning. From there, I’ll guide us through key areas of your life so I can get a full picture of what’s been going on and what’s most important to focus on. My goal is for you to feel heard, understood, and comfortable, while also leaving with a clearer sense of direction for our work together.
