Great to meet you!

If you've been carrying anxiety, trauma, or the weight of a relationship that feels stuck, you've landed in the right place. I'm a licensed clinical social worker (MSSW, Florida International University) who works with children, adolescents, adults, and families and I bring a direct, warm, and genuinely solution-focused approach to every session.

I specialize in trauma, anxiety, stress, and relationship challenges, and I draw from a purposeful mix of evidence-based methods: Trauma-Focused CBT, Prolonged Exposure Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Seeking Safety, and family systems approaches including Strategic Family Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Family Therapy. I offer services in both English and Haitian Creole.

I'm not the therapist who nods quietly while you talk in circles. I'm direct, I'll help you connect the dots, challenge the patterns keeping you stuck, and find real, workable solutions. And yes, I believe humor has a place in healing. Therapy can be hard work and feel human at the same time.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should be tailored, purposeful, and honest. No one-size-fits-all treatment plans here. I take time to understand your specific history, goals, and pace then we build a roadmap together.

For trauma, I use Trauma-Focused CBT and Prolonged Exposure Therapy, two of the most rigorously researched approaches available. For anxiety and stress, I draw on CBT and behavior modification to help you interrupt unhelpful cycles and build skills that actually hold up outside the therapy room. For families and couples, I bring in Strategic Family Therapy, Solution-Focused Couples Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Family Therapy structured, research-backed frameworks for rebuilding communication and connection.

My style is collaborative but direct. I'll name what I'm seeing, offer honest reflection, and keep sessions moving forward. I believe healing happens when you feel genuinely supported and gently challenged at the same time.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a real conversation not a checklist. I'll ask what brought you here, what's been weighing on you, and what you're hoping life looks like on the other side of this. You don't need to have it all figured out before you walk in.

You'll leave with a clear sense of my style, a beginning understanding of what we'll work on together, and most importantly a sense of whether this feels like the right fit. I want you to feel like you were heard, not evaluated. We'll go from there.
