Great to meet you!

I've spent 10+ years work with young children and adults in various contexts learning to laugh with people while learning about why their pain makes sense in their contexts.

I believe in an eclectic theoretical approach, one that draws on a wide range of perspectives including humanist/existential philosophy, Jungian psychodynamics, attachment theory, trauma-informed and client-centered practice.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I generally hold the hope that my clients will find more joy in life, feel more settled, and cultivate the ability to listen to and express their own voices. Much of the modern world serves to separate people from their own instincts, the good in you that knows what you need better than I ever could.

What you can expect from our first session

I seek first to understand what aspects of my client’s psyche are causing them pain, then to help them have a wider, more creative relationship with their pain in whatever way will be most effective for them, and finally to help them find meaning in their painful experiences.
