Great to meet you!

Over nearly two decades in mental health care, I've had the privilege of working with people in their most vulnerable moments. I've worked 12-hour shifts in NYC's psychiatric emergency rooms, helped patients achieve breakthroughs in individual counseling sessions, and organized a regional art exhibition that celebrated the extraordinary talents of patients who are too often overlooked by society.

In 2022, I earned my doctorate from Columbia University, the nation's top-ranked program. Since then, I've treated patients at Mount Sinai Hospital's prestigious Faculty Practice on Madison Avenue and taught the next generation of psychiatric providers at an Ivy League institution. But what drives me isn't credentials—it's genuine curiosity about what makes each person tick and an unwavering belief that everyone deserves compassionate, expert care when they're struggling.

I've seen mental health challenges from every angle, and I understand that finding stability looks different for everyone. Whether you're facing a crisis or simply feeling stuck, I'm here to help you discover your path forward. You don't need to have it all figured out—that's what we'll work on together.

My approach to therapy

I don't judge.

Whatever is causing you to seek help, I'm here to work on it with you.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my main goal is to understand what's stopping you from being your healthiest self. Then, we will work together to find the best ways to overcome those barriers. We’ll create a customized treatment strategy to address your long-term mental health goals.

I see medication as one of many therapeutic options. Medication is rarely the complete answer, but when used carefully, it can provide a quick lift that enhances your natural abilities and coping skills.
