Great to meet you!

Often in life we find ourselves feeling isolated, without support, uncertain of what do to, or where to go in our lives. This may be due to trauma, grief, depression, communication difficulties, anxiety or any number of other difficulties. We look for ways to address this adversity that everyone eventually encounters by looking at ourselves and our lives for clarity. Doing this alone is challenging and when we collaborate, we make more progress than alone. I work well with those wanting to understand themselves and achieve their goals even if they are unsure of what their goals are quite yet.

My approach to therapy

I support you in understanding where your troubles stem from, how they are maintained and use this as a foundation for change. I do this by collaboratively leveraging the cognitive model to identify unhelpful thoughts and then examining them with compassion and acceptance, while also teaching skills to help in doing so and to bring balance.

What you can expect from me

Before I saw a therapist I spent a long time feeling alone and without anyone I could talk to about what I was struggling with. Reaching out was hard and making the changes I wanted was even harder. It takes courage and determination to be vulnerable and push beyond your comfort zone. I am here to support and guide you in your journey.
