Great to meet you!

Hello my name is Bill Brewer, I am a licensed marriage & family therapist with over 30 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families in Colorado. I have a Masters Degree in Marital and Family/Clinical Art Therapy from Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles and a Bachelor of Arts in Art from Loretto Heights College. I have been licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist in Colorado since 1995.

My approach to therapy

I approach my work in a client-centered manner, focusing on what the client identifies as needing attention in therapy work. I like to meet clients where they are and to help them identify where they would like to be through the course of our work together. I like to help clients focus on goals that are attainable and measurable. Important to the process is helping clients identify their strengths and resources, and reinforcing their ability to apply these in their daily lives.

What you can expect from me

Clients should expect to have an agreed upon focus of therapy, a clear sense of goals, and an ongoing sense of what has been accomplished. I also want to help clients develop tools to aid them in their daily lives and after our work together.
