Great to meet you!

His approach uses a mixture of CBT, psychodynamic treatment, and mindfulness practices. Additionally, he has a specialty in working with individuals and families experiencing criminal justice problems.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is to determine what the client's concerns are, whether or not they have experience with counseling, which goals they are seeking, and whether the client and I can co-create a healthy relationship wherein the client feels safe, secure and optimistic about change.

What you can expect from me

The first two sessions are generally an overview of the client's present experiences and their history. It generally involves more structured inquiry than do later sessions, which vary in tone and emotion, depending on what narratives we have already built.
